Return and Refund Policy
A. General Policy: All Sales are Final
All property is sold "AS-IS, WHERE-IS," and all sales are final.
We strongly encourage all prospective bidders to inspect the property or request detailed condition reports prior to placing any bids. The failure of any bidder to inspect, or to become fully informed of the condition of the property, will not constitute grounds for any claim, adjustment, refund, or termination of the sale.
No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be provided for buyer's remorse, minor condition issues (e.g., slight wear, scratches, minor chips), size discrepancies, or other issues related to the condition or appearance of the item that were visible or described.
B. Limited Guarantee and Conditions for Refund
A refund will only be considered under the following limited circumstances:
- The item is proven to be a counterfeit (a forgery or simulation intended to deceive as to authenticity or authorship).
- The item description contained a material and gross misrepresentation of a critical, verifiable element (e.g., the specific metal, artist's signature, or historical provenance) that significantly impacts the value and was not disclosed.
C. Refund Claim Procedure
Notification: The buyer must notify New Press Vinyl in writing via email to support@newpressvinyl.com within 7 business days of receipt of the item, clearly stating the nature of the misrepresentation or counterfeit claim.
Required Documentation: The claim must be supported by verifiable documentation, such as a written statement from a recognized, independent expert or authentication service that confirms the material misrepresentation. The cost of obtaining such documentation is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Inspection and Return: If the claim is deemed credible by New Press Vinyl, the buyer will be authorized to return the item. The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was in when received, and packed securely.
Refund Amount: If the claim is verified by New Press Vinyl, the successful buyer will receive a full refund of the hammer price and the buyer’s premium paid. Shipping, handling, and insurance costs are Not Refundable.
D. Exclusions and Time Limit
This guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original successful bidder.
Any claim filed more than 30 days after the date of the auction will be permanently barred.
