The rules at NPV are very straightforward.  Here are the ground rules to participate in our Auction.

Vinyl Auction Rules & Terms

1. The Bidding Process

  • No Reserve: Every auction starts at $1.
  • Bid Jumps: Please increase bids by at least $10.
  • Auction Clocks:
    • Start Time: 11:00 AM ET.
    • End Time: 5:00 PM ET, 7 to 28 days later.
    • The 15-Minute Rule: If a bid comes in during the last 15 minutes, we add 15 minutes to the clock to keep things fair. Bidding keeps going until there are no new bids for 15 minutes.
  • Bids Are For Real: When you bid, you commit to buying. We can't retract bids once they're placed.

2. What You're Getting

  • As-Is Condition: These are unique, used items, so they are sold "as-is." Check out the photos and descriptions carefully—what you see is what you get!
  • Our Authenticity Promise: We guarantee the provenance of the physical item as described in the listing.
  • No IP Attached: You're buying the awesome physical record and frame, not the music's copyright or reproduction rights.

3. Payment & Shipping

  • Settle Up: You have 24 hours from receiving your final invoice to settle the payment.
  • Oops, I Didn't Pay: If payment fails, we will cancel the order and you won't be able to bid with us again. We’ll then offer the item to the next lucky bidder.
  • Shipping Smarts: You cover shipping, tracking, and insurance costs.
  • International Heads Up: International buyers handle all customs duties, taxes, and import fees. We ship items as merchandise, not gifts. Once it leaves our door, you assume the risk of any loss or damage during transit (so that insurance is key!).

4. The Fine Print & Returns

  • Final Say: Our team has the final word on who the official winner is in case of a snag.
  • All Sales Final: No returns or exchanges on auction items. We only take it back if we accidentally sent you the wrong item entirely!
  • Tech Happens: We aren't liable for app glitches or internet outages that might affect your bidding flow. Bid at your own risk!
